Just as your home is unique, your Archadeck outdoor living space will be unique to your home. At your design consultation, we explore the activities you are looking to enjoy outside, the number of people that will regularly be enjoying the new space and even help you consider how your pets will use your new space. Your Archadeck outdoor living space is custom built just for you.
Taking a look at the various projects featured here, you can see any number of different material options, shapes, sizes and overall designs. We help you ensure that your new space works well with your existing home and to ensure it looks original to your home. There are a number of techniques we employ to make your space look like it was built with your home. These include material selections, color selections, roof choices, and a number of other options.
The AZEK deck and shed roof screened porch combination space you see in the image below was built to accomodate ease of traffic flow from the house, through the porch, onto the deck and out into the front or rear yard. Traffic flow is important. You want to maximize the outdoor living space and ensure you and your guests can easily move around to fully enjoy the space.
The porch below is an open porch, also called a covered porch. Designing a roofline for this porch posed particular challenges. The homeowners did not want to obstruct the view of the second-story windows but they still wanted both an open and airy feel as well as a custom look. The roof is a combination shed roof with inset gable. A number of our Overland Park homeowners have selected this roof style. The shed roof attaches to the home and slopes gently downward toward the yard. The small inset gable offers tremendous design flair and aesthetic appeal. The shed roof is elevated to ensure the porch receives as much light as possible.
Archadeck of Kansas City builds screened porches, open porches, 3-season rooms, 4-season rooms, sunrooms and porch combinations with decks, patios, pergolas and more.
Many of our customers are now building outdoor living environments that include multiple living spaces as you see below. This Leawood KS outdoor living area includes a screened porch, a paver patio, a composite deck and a corner pergola
Below is another example of an entire outdoor living environment. At the top left, you’ll see a screen porch that’s tailored to match every aspect of the existing home. All of our screened porches are made to look original to the home. The grand set of stairs on the diagonal empty out into the large patio with a custom fire pit. Toward the back of the picture you will note a large pergola which is also painted to match the home.
This particular outdoor environment was built in phases starting with a master plan. This is a great way to build the backyard of your dreams over a period of time and ensuring that all of the pieces create an overall outdoor living space that’s cohesive and designed to work together.
Below you see a shed roof screened porch to one side and a pergola with a privacy screen on the other side. Again, all of the elements of this Overland Park screen porch and pergola environment are built to work together and look original to the home.
