AZEK adds 3 new deck colors to its popular Vintage Collection

New AZEK Decking Colors

If visions of Mahogany, Cypress and Dark Hickory decking colors weren’t enticing enough to stir up dreams of a new deck for you, how about three more choices? Coastline™, English Walnut™ and Weathered Teak™ are AZEK’s new decking colors, doubling the options in their top-of-the-line Vintage Decking Collection.

Deck design and color

Just as its name suggests, the English Walnut color is the darkest of the three and has a more formal appearance. If elegance is your goal, AZEK’s English Walnut decking will accomplish that for you. This bold color contrasts beautifully with AZEK’s white railing system. If your home’s siding is any shade of brown, a new deck in English Walnut would complement that nicely.

You don’t have to be at the coast to appreciate AZEK’s new Coastline blend. Variegated shades of lighter gray mixed with occasional darker gray accents make this a more relaxing and casual color for the ultimate in deck relaxation. This new color offers a deck with textured shades in an appealing subtle hue. If your home’s siding is a dark gray color, the Coastline deck will work well for you. Outdoor furniture cushions that pop with color will add a bit of fun to this laid-back outdoor color scheme.

The name “Weathered Teak” brings a lush tropical setting to mind, and you don’t have to be anywhere near the tropics to enjoy the golden warmth of this new deck color. Just as rich but a little lighter than AZEK’s Cypress decking boards (also in the Vintage Decking Collection), Weathered Teak is a very warm brown reminiscent of walnut. This deck color would offer a pleasing contrast to a home with siding in a dark sage or other earth tones.

AZEK durability with wood-like texture

Archadeck of Kansas City builds our share of decks with AZEK low-maintenance capped PVC decking boards, and our experience has been that AZEK always exceeds our clients’ expectations. With the introduction of these three new colors to their Vintage Decking Collection, the company has also changed the surface texture of this line of decking to increase its wood-like appearance. It’s a little less glossy with more streaking, giving it a slightly rustic texture. Variegation in the new colors resembles that of freshly stained wood, and the degree of variegation varies from board-to-board and color to color.

What has not changed about AZEK’s Vintage Decking Collection are its qualities of durability, stain and scratch resistance. This line of synthetic deck materials is still covered by a 30-year limited fade and stain warranty and a limited lifetime warranty. Also, the AZEK Vintage Decking Collection maintains a Class “A” Flame Spread rating, reducing the risk of spreading fires.

Whether AZEK’s new Coastline™, English Walnut™ and Weathered Teak™ colors strike your fancy, or you’ve always been—and still are—intrigued by the original Mahogany, Cypress and Dark Hickory colors, Archadeck of Kansas City can help you select the perfect materials and colors for your new deck or porch.

As you begin planning your new deck, make sure to select an experienced Kansas City AZEK deck builder. Particular building requirements must be met to ensure the warranty remains valid. Archadeck has been working with AZEK for many years and always builds according to AZEK’s required building standards.
